Resurrection Church has supported United Methodist missionaries Ardell and Gordy Graner for many years. Next month they will both be retired after 32 years of ministry in Bolivia and the Dominican Republic. We thank God for the many lives they have blessed in Jesus’ name. Please pray for them as they take the next step in their walk with Christ. With their retirement they will no longer need mission support.

As one chapter ends another begins. In December, a typhoon in the Philippines destroyed the community where Pastor Max Maregmen and his wife Myrna are serving. Pastor Max is a friend of retired Pastor Duane from Resurrection. They met years ago in District Superintendent’s school. Support for the Maregmens and their church will be a new mission for us in 2022. Read about how you can help them recover.

Also, we continue to support Ken Christie, a former member of Resurrection and current Director of US Missional Enterprise with the Navigators organization. Through this work, Ken assists business owners and entrepreneurs who are disciples of Christ to launch and build businesses which not only make a profit, but also make disciples and make a difference in their communities. Donations to Ken can be made by noting that on your mission giving.

Of course, we continue to support our core missions of Hastings Family Service, Zoe International, rezYouth scholarships and Conference apportionments, as well as many others.

Through these missions you are helping introduce people to Jesus and love our neighbors near and far.

However you face the January cold, may the love of God warm your heart. And may all your difficulties lead to hope in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Mark

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.  – 1 Corinthians 1:4
