Did you know that the Minnesota Woman Suffrage Association was formed in Hastings on September 20, 1881? This presentation will cover local women’s organizations and the individuals who founded them beginning in 1866 when Hastings was still a scraggly town through the 1920s. Meet some of the individual women who joined together to accomplish goals to improve their community. Presented by Heidi Langenfeld, President of Friends LeDuc and Historic Hastings.
