As the City of Hastings prepares for predicted flooding, we’re coming together as a community THIS SATURDAY for sandbag preparations! The staging area is Branchline Church in Hastings (directions). There will be TWO opportunities to serve on Saturday. The morning opportunity (9a-12p) will entail filling sandbags while the afternoon opportunity (1-4p) will focus on placement of bags. If you’re physically unable to help with sandbags but still interested in helping, please consider providing water or snacks for the workers that day.
