Early Response Basic Training Course – La Crescent

Loading Events

Early Response Teams (ERT) fill a specific need in the days soon after a natural disaster. ERTs remove debris, clean out flood-damaged homes, and otherwise help to prevent further property damage while providing a caring Christian presence. ERT volunteers are different from general volunteers because we are trained, have security background checks and are entirely self-sufficient. Since 1997 ERT trained volunteers have worked at 18 Minnesota disasters and responded five times to disasters in other states. The course, taught by UMCOR certified instructors, provides the basic skills for you to become a member of the Early Response Team. The course will be taught at La Crescent United Methodist Church.

Cost: $20.00 includes ERT training materials, lunch, snacks and UMCOR Photo ID (no fee if you are taking it for recertification.)
Registration Deadline: May 02, 2016 12:00 AM

Contact Traci Woolard ([email protected]) with any questions.
