When God blesses Abraham and tells him his descendants will become a great nation, God also tells him that he will be a blessing to others. In fact, all the people on earth will be blessed through him (Genesis 12:3). Abraham was blessed to be a blessing.

The same applies to us. While what we do may not touch everyone in the world, we have been blessed to be a blessing. On Easter the church was full, the worship was uplifting, we saw friends we haven’t seen since before COVID, and many of us having survived COVID (or other crisis) were glad to be able to celebrate. It was a blessing.

We also took a special Be The Hope offering to bless others near and far. So far we have received over $14,000 from that Easter mission offering! How wonderful to be able to bless others just as we have been blessed. You make it possible for Resurrection Church to be a blessing to the world. Thank you for your generosity.

He is risen!

Pastor Mark

“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”
