Hi, church family, I’m Dayna Steinke, shown here with my family. I’ve been a member of Resurrection Church for about 10 years and am excited to now be serving as the new Director of Children and Family Ministry here. I have a big love for children and a passion to tell others of Jesus!
I grew up on a farm in Fulda, MN and found my relationship with Jesus in the private school I grew up in, plus by the example that my parents set as Christians. I’ve lived in a few other cities before residing to Hastings in 2012 for my job with the American Red Cross. In 2013, I met my husband, David. We married in 2015, made Hastings our home, and have three children (Landon 6, Eden 3, and Briar 1). In my spare time I love being with friends and family, going back to Fulda (where my parents still farm), and watching Landon play sports.
I continue to work for the American Red Cross as an account manager, having been with the organization for 16 years, with most of that time working in the Education Department teaching Phlebotomy. I now office from home, which provides lots of flexibility, and led me to accept this position at Resurrection serving kids and families.
