Early in 2021, Resurrection Church held a three-year capital campaign to pay down the $1.09 million dollar mortgage on our building renovations. We named it Be Our Guest 2. That three-year period is nearly complete, and you have responded above and beyond what was originally committed. We have paid off half of the mortgage, with only $550,000 now remaining.
Instead of holding another three-year capital campaign and calling it Be Our Guest 3, the Finance Team has decided to include an additional section for the mortgage on our regular yearly commitment card. So, this coming Sunday, October 15, you can use the one card to make a 2024 commitment to both the General Fund (which supports all the ministries, staff, and operating expenses of Resurrection), and also the Mortgage Fund.
