DESCRIPTION:Plants for a Mission is a fundraising event taking place at Hastings UMC on Mother’s day to support our Christian brothers and sisters at St. Joseph Alamano Church in Kenya. While this church has no running water or electricity\, it is full-to-bursting with love for the Lord. Over the past years\, donations sent to St. Joseph Alamano Church have been used to purchase windows for their church\, musical instruments for the children and a very simple battery-powered public address system used in their church. \n100% of the proceeds collected at this event will be sent to St. Joseph Alamano Church in Kenya. \nAvailable this year with a free-will donation:\n\nPeppers (Jalapena and Sweet Bell)\nTomatoes (Heirloom\, Beefsteak\, Early\, Super Sweet Cherry\, and Roma)\nMarigolds\nColeus\nCalla Lily\nSedum\nCoral Belle\nVariety of other flowers\n\n
